Review: Michael Rasmussen’s “Get More Buyers” Video Course

Review of Michael Rasmussen’s “Get More Buyers” Video Course:
Stuff Your List Full Of Buyers And Start Seeing Five and Six Figures

Ever wondered how online marketers can send an email and see $2,500 or $5,000 or even $25,000 or more flow right into their bank account?

It probably seems like magic…or a scam. But let me tell you, it’s neither one. In fact, it’s pretty easy once you have the business tool these big-profit marketers have. And Michael Rasmussen’s new “Get More Buyers” video course shows you how to get it.

It just launched today – I’ve been one of Michaels affiliates and subscribers for a couple years now and already knew the quality of information he puts out so naturally I hit the order page as soon as it launched.

The secret weapon these marketers have is a mailing list absolutely stuffed with buyers. What’s great
about Michael’s course is that he hands you 10 practical strategies for attracting eager buyers.
Actually, he’s showing you the way he built his own list, which is pretty much legendary as a JV profit
powerhouse.

I’ve purchased and reviewed the course myself, and I can say a few things with confidence…

First, the quality of the course is excellent. This was obviously professionally done. The audio is near
studio quality, and the presentation he walks through makes the concepts completely clear. Michael’s
previous products were clearly made by somebody who KNOWS how to make a great product, and this one continues the tradition.

He starts with a brief introduction to the common list-building mistakes people make when they’re just
starting out online. This certainly explained some of my own struggles—it’s not just “fluff” material.

For example, he tells you how to create your own profit-pulling marketing “funnel”, even if you’re
starting from scratch. He also tells you the root cause of the two major challenges most people
face…but then he goes one better. He tells you specifically how to crush those challenges.

He walks through 10 strategies for stuffing your list full of buyers. This is amazing material. Here’s just
a sample of what he covers:

* The “magic” price that can get you buyers almost immediately if you’re selling your own product

* How to increase the profit you make on each sale by 50% of more, almost immediately, and with hardly any effort (it’s all about buyer psychology)

* How to “steal” buyers from other marketers, and actually have them thank you for it!

List-building books and courses are a dime a dozen, but Michael’s course is one of the best I’ve ever
seen. There’s no tired old advice that doesn’t work today. He’s giving you real strategies that he uses
himself, and that helped him create a list that routinely brings in five and six figures when he sends
an email.

If you want results like that for yourself (and who DOESN’T, right?) then you check out Michael’s “Get
More Buyers” course. Your business profits will be very happy you did!

Anatomy of a lead capture page

I’ve talked about the importance of building your list and using a lead capture page for years…

(you can always refer back to this previous post on the subject of list building)

This article will focus on the basics of what a lead capture page should consist of as well as a few tips.

  • Your Ad Copy

Your ad copy (the text on your pages) is as important as the design. In fact some say even more important.

Start with your headline. This is a hard and fast rule: your lead capture page must have a powerful headline. That is the first thing your prospect is going to look at when he/she visits your web site. Not having a headline is like looking at a headless person!

Your headline serves as an advertisement to your prospects. Your headline must grab the attention of your visitors immediately.

Here is a recommended copy layout a lead capture page:

-Your main headline

-A subhead

-A few bullets providing the benefits. Note that benefits are different then features.

Use the ‘WIIFM’ RULE: What’s in it for me…Your ad copy should speak to your prospect directly… use the word YOU and ME. Eliminate the use of the word ‘I’.

- Call To Action: Tell them what you want them to do. Example, Simply enter your name and email address in the form below, and you’ll gain instant access.

- A simple privacy statement is also recommended.

Additional Tips:

  • Keep the opt in form above the fold. This means that it can be seen without having to scroll down the page.
  • Videos are HOT right now. A powerful video on your lead capture page can completely eliminate the need for much ad copy. I’ve seen high conversions with no more than a really compelling video and an optin form.
  • The less information you ask for on your form, the higher chance your visitor will sign up. The more fields of required information you ask for on your form, the more ‘friction’ you are adding to the process. At most, ask for name and email address.
  • Bonus offer or incentive

Consider offering some sort of bonus or incentive to your new subscribers- something other then the promise of more information. The bonus itself should tie into your main offer.

It can be a free report…software, maybe you have a CD to offer…or record an audio or video presentation.

Hope this helps out,

Rhonda

Why do I need to build a list?

How many times have you heard “the money is in the list” or “the fortune is in the follow up”…

Hundreds, thousands? and with good reason.

The money IS in the list! Building your OWN list, not a lead list you have purchased, is the one asset which can be most profitable for you. It’s the one thing that all successful marketers have in common.

Even though you’ve heard it thousands of times, why are you NOT doing it?
What’s stopping you?

I’ve found that it is usually due to 2 reasons…

1. You don’t know how to get started and

2. FEAR!

You are scared to ‘force’ someone to give you their contact information upfront. Let me ask you something…Do you really think that a person that was not willing to provide you with their contact information will actually give you their credit card information?? I can honestly tell you that 98% won’t…Keep reading and I’ll explain why.

So many beginning marketers very quickly become frustrated by their lack of response and results with their online marketing and just give up completely. The reason they fail is that their marketing approach is flawed… How is it flawed? They ask for the sale way too soon.

Before you ask for the sale, you must develop a relationship. Earn their trust! This is done by first educating and offering something of value to them upfront, usually at no cost to them other then their contact information.

Build your list first…. The ’sale’ will come later.

Building a list and especially one of prospects that are interested in exactly what you have to offer is the most powerful marketing technique ever devised.

Major corporations such as the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times are doing it. They too see the value in building a list. If they’re doing it, shouldn’t you?

There are multiple benefits of a large, growing, and responsive opt-in email list:

- Increases your opportunities for selling multiple products and services.

- Allows you to build relationships (the key to a successful long-term business) quickly and easily, which result in more sales and profits.

- Heightens your visibility and credibility.

Ever notice marketers that seem to have a magic touch? It seems they can effortlessly build a large downline or make a large amount of affiliate income so quickly.

The ‘Magic’ was in their List and follow up! They already had their own optin list to market to! A list of people that knew them, liked them and more importantly trusted them!

Just take a look at these statistics:

Statistics from the National Sales Association

* 2% of sales are made on the 1st contact
* 3% of sales are made on the 2nd contact
* 5% of sales are made on the 3rd contact
* 10% of sales are made on the 4th contact
* 80% of sales are made on the 5th-12th contact

As you can see, being able to capture your visitors contact information on their first visit is critical so that you can reap the benefits in the followup! Otherwise you are potentially missing out on 98% of your sales!

It’s interesting to point out from the above statistics that the majority of sales, 80% , are not made until at least the 5th contact. Why do you think this is?

Simple…By then you have begun to build trust and a relationship with that person.

If you haven’t already, you’ll want to get started building your optin list today!
